Recently i got a call from a friend whom i have not been conteacting for at least 1 year.... The 1st thing he said was "要不要去算命"? I was like?!?!? How random can that be? But out of curiousity i asked where and what kind of fortune telling? He then mentioned that it is not some expensive fortune telling session or anything, the place is located at Toa Payoh and the fortune telling tells your fortune by your Aura. Aura?! Hmm, since it is not very expensive so i agreed to go with him as he also told me that the price is only $18.00 =P
On 27th Nov 2008, 8.45pm, i met up with Leon at Toa Payoh, we headed straight to the Fortune Telling Center. Upon reaching, i was surprised that the place is actually big and commercialized, not anything like what i have imagined it to be "Household auntie sitting in front of a red altar". Any way, Leon introduced me to his friend whom is actually working there, from there his friend brought me to 1 side and said that they are going to take a photo of me..... I was quite puzzled on why take photo? What has it got to do with fortune telling????

He then explained to me that the camera they are using is not any common camera, their camera will be able to capture the Aura around me.... Still feeling kinda skeptical, but since im ready to pay that $18, so i obliged =.= I was then asked to sit on a really "Blockish / Squarish" Chair, with my hands on the arm rest (Feel like going to be executed on a Electric Chair) and they snap a photo of me.
Thereafter, i was led to a consultantion room, and inside was a lady, well dressed in formal attire. I was then told that she will help me deciphere what eactly my Aura is saying..... Below is what she told me about me, everything was conversed in Mandarin, but im now not in the mood to type chinese, so i will just explained in English....
Before the consultant peeled off the cover from the instant photo that was taken earlier, she told me that she can sense that there will be blue in the photo.... After looking at the photo, i was like... What the..... There is only blue and green on my photo, whereas the photo of my friend is so colurful, with Red, Yellow, Violet etc.... The lady then told me that from my Aura
The 1st thing she saw is that i have not been sleeping well, it's not like im not having not enough sleep, it's that i am sleeping very light
2ndly, she said that i am currently stable in my job and has not financial worries (NOT TRUE!!! I NEED MORE $$$)
3rd, my photo has no red in it, which means that i has no fire, in other words, i have no "Drive" (冲劲), and i need someone with "Fire" to push / motivate me.
4th, said that i am stubborn, as stubborn as a bull =.= once my mind is made up to do something, it is quite impossible (not impossible) to change my mind. She also quoted that if i want to do something "This" way then i will have it my way
5th, she also said that i am the type of person whom is not socialable kind, in any circumstances, i will not be the one that pops out to some one and introduce myself, instead i will sit by a side and observe what a person is really like before i open up (This is very true!!)
6th, im someone who is very conserved, and does not express my emotions to anybody, she quoted an example where i am in a scenrio where i had been hurt deeply, and was crying the whole nite, but i will still appear nothing has happened the following day (你实际上已经受伤了，而且伤的很重，不过你会隔天就在别人的面前当作什么事都没发生过)
7th, this is the part that bothers me the most. She said that i will not find long term happiness (你很难找到长久的快乐，因为你追求完美。当你做任何事，你会做到满意为止，而当你满意之后你会觉得你还可以加强的，还可以做的更好) Simply to say, that i want the best for everything, be it the things i do, the things i possess and even my partner....
After the consultantion, the lady offers me to sign up for their 紫微斗数 service, which will cost $98.00 =.= (Gimmick!)
Well, after some many things that she had told me, those mentioned above are some of the things that she told me which i find them true. Well, it is still up to my friends to tell if the above description fits me? >.<>
Im feeling so emotional these days.... Probably due to having to juggle work and studies at the same time.... At times i wonder, did i made a wrong move to take up this job? Am i really capable to manage it? Or is it just luck or maybe favoritism from the boss?
Im totally drained from work. I have got exams coming this Monday, and i have not started to study.... Meetings after meetings, conferences after conferences, work keep piling up.... there is literally no time for study at all.... How i miss my old job where i take calls from customers. Day by day, no stress, office hours over, pack my bag and go.... Totally no worries....
While i was going home today, i overheard a couple's conversation. How should i describe them? Dressed in T-shirts and shorts, abit to the plump side, and personality wise, hmmm.... I dun wanna be rude or anything, maybe i could say that they are just a simple minded couple. Im not out to mock at them or anything, in a matter of fact, im envious of them. Living a simple life, with not much worries. And most importantly happy...
Any way, i was saying, i overheard their conversation, the husband is telling his wife "老婆，这份工你一定要做下去，老公现在没有办法养你。等老公赚多多钱以后你就不用作工了。还有你的EzLink Card我已经帮你Topup十块钱了，用完了跟我说，我再帮你 Topup" I even hear that the wife wanting to get a cellphone, and the husband is saying he will definately buy for her once he saves enough money, and the wife happily said "OK" and replied "我爱你老公". Then the thought of being simple can also be so sweet and happy, those words really touched my heart.
How life can be so simple and happy if money is never an issue in your life. You begin simple, you live simple. People are grown too attached to this materalistic world, we can never get satisfied. We got a decent job but is still complaining our job sucks, we get to wear designer clothings but we yearn for more, we are dining in restaurants and we are complaining the food is lousy.... How life can be so simple if we don't begin to have all those things...
Thinking back, comparing myself to the couple, i feel i have nothing.... and they have everything in the world.... Or should i say, at least they have one another.....
26th December 2007 (Wednesday) It has really been a long time since i last log on to this cob webbed site of mine..... Not much things have changed thou.... But at least i know no one will be viewing my entries any more.....
For these past few months, i have been thru quite a rough ride.... Feeling really down and at times im ecstatically happy. I wonder if it is due to work or could it have been something else? I really don't know the cause.....
It really bothers me, many a times im feeling so alone even thou im at work or around "Friends" or another word to put it acquaintances. I have realised that i have got no one to turn to in times of need and no one to share my sorrows and no shoulder to cry on when i needed one..... What can be worse is that i have got no one there to even to share my happiness.... That's how pathetic i am
But some how or rather, i know that i can make it thru myself... I know it cos it has been this way for the past 26yrs.... And it definately made me a stronger person

Any way, was quite free now and so decided to write an entry on my blog.... In fact nothing much to write, so i just wanted to post some pictures on my characters wearing different armour from Level 1 - 100. It looks more like a fashion to me than increasing the defend of my characters =D
It's been quite awhile since i last blog, was kinda busy with school work and of cos gaming =P Aside from rushing for my school project, i spent most of my time playing a new game that i started about a month ago...
For the past 1 month or so, i spent most of my time leveling my characters, going on quest / mission with frens.... Not until recently that we joined another faction, only then we started to have some real action in he game =D The most fun i had was going for the Level 51 faction quest in Prison Mohgus, about 25 faction members participated in the raid and we did a great job. But still it took us 2 tries before we manage to clear the mission. The Boss in that area is damn tough =P

The Colombian daily El Tiempo published a column by a priest who said he has seen Madonna's DVD of her latest concert tour and defends her 'crucifixion' and nudity and calls the show a model of evangelization.
In a column entitled, 'Madonna: A Suggestive Presentation of Jesus,' Jesuit Father Carlos Novoa, former dean of the Department of Theology at the Javeriana University, said he was impressed by the 'deep spirituality' of some of Madonna's choreography and claimed her parody of the crucifixion 'is not a mockery of the cross, but rather the complete opposite: An exaltation of the mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus' and a 'creative and moving' work of art.
Father Novoa said the DVD recording of Madonna's 'The Confessions Tour' was something worth viewing for its 'high aesthetic quality.' The song 'Live to Tell,' in which Madonna is 'crucified,' 'is one of the best sermons I have witnessed in my life,' and he challenged Catholics to follow the example of the singer.
'In this postmodern, skeptic world in which so many people abhor or are simply uninterested in the faith, will ministers of the church and Catholics in general have this audacity and this creativity to communicate a Jesus who truly shakes people up on the inside?' Novoa wondered.
The Jesuit priest also defended 'masculine and feminine nudity,' expressed not through 'cheap pornography' but through 'erotic beauty.' He compared Madonna's choreography and nudity with the works of Michelangelo, 'who filled the walls of the Sistine Chapel, the sacrosanct place where the holy father is elected, with frescoes of nude men and women.
'Father Novoa said renowned artists and art critics consider Madonna to be 'one of the best choreographers of our times.' 'In her excellent stage presentations, she sometimes makes use of both male and female nudes, which scandalizes some, as in the case of Michelangelo,' he claimed.
Novoa acknowledged that some of Madonna's antics are 'ridiculous,' but, he claimed, 'they said the same thing about Beethoven when he debuted some of his best compositions and about Picasso, one of the great guides posts of modern-day art, when he presented his master works in 1907: 'Les Demoiselles d'Avignon.'
In conjunction with the Great Singapore Sale, i bought a bottle of the Ralph Lauren's new fragrant "Polo Double Black" It comes with a free travel bag ^^ Its actually the travel bag that i like, so i can say that im buying the bag that comes with the fragrant instead of vice versa =D People who knows me should know that im a CK one guy. I mean its my trademark smell since my secondary school days =P If it weren't for the bag, probably i might not be buying it at all O.o

Any way i got this fragrant at a discounted price of $100 only. Thanks to Kok San, who's working at CK Tang, he got me the 20% staff discount and so i saved $25. This should be way of the GSS ;)
Off day! Today was supposed to be meeting up with Leon and Julie to go YumCha (饮茶) @Chinatown. As Leon got something important to attend to, so our appointment was cancelled. Not wanting to disappoint myself, i called Meizhen if she wants to go YumCha with me =P
Met up with Meizhen at around 2.15pm went down to Chinatown and the timing was just right. 3pm Buffet High Tea ^^ When the waiter came over to serve us, the 1st question was "Do you have the promotion coupon?" We were wondering what promotion they are having now, so Meizhen asked the waiter. Later found out that if we cut out a coupon from 优周刊or print out from a copy from their website, then we are entitled to enjoy the buffet at a special price of $15Nett. Usual was $16.80++ Being the 三八woman, Meizhen tried to use 美人计on the waiter hoping that we could pay the special price without the coupon =P But it seems like 岁月不留人her 美人计no longer works. And so being the 三八us i volunteered to go down to buy a copy of 优周刊=P

Just like always, we ate till 6pm (Last serving for the High Tea Buffet) =D We then went on down to Bugis to meet Yanfen for a shopping spree. Sadly nothing really caught my eye so i ended up empty handed while the 2 women got some really good deals from Bugiss Village.... We also bumped into some guys dressed in the Pirates of Carribean clothings to promote the film. So Meizhen went on over to take a photo with 1 of them =P
From there on we went on to Liang Seah for a drink to do some catching up. Actually i wasn't really keen as im feeling kinda tired. But Meizhen insisted that i kept her company as Yanfen has asked along a guy friend of hers whom is a total stranger from Meizhen. And so our nite ended at almost 1am =(
