Indian Wedding
24th June 2006 (Saturday)
Met up with Jasper @Tampines, fetched me to Bugis, and thereafter we had our dinner in a restaurant opposite Bugis Junction. After dinner quickly rush down to Chinatown as i was invited to attend a colleague's sister's wedding....
Bride, Groom & Rajesh
Indian Wedding
1st time attending an Indian Wedding. The wedding is held in the temple @South Bridge Road. The ceremony itself takes more than 1hr.... during the ceremony the bride almost fainted.... probably is due to the incense. Im not being exagerating, but during the ceremony the stage is burning with incense, even me seated quite a few rounds from the stage, the smoke is enough to make me feel groggy..... i really cannot imagine how it will be like on the stage!!!!

After the ceremony, there is a reception downstairs serving vegetarian food, i did not wait for that... i left even before the ceremony ended as Jasper is still waiting at Bugis. Paiseh to let Jasper wait, so i took a cab back to Bugis.....

No need to say, the rest of the night is spent at Bugis....

Bye Bye Pei Kheng .....
20th June 2006 (Tuesday)
Sobz sobz ..... another casualty of the Bank! Pei Kheng is officially not a SCB staff as of today! But to her it will be a good begining for a new experience of life..... So as a farewell gift, Desmond, Erica, Jessica, Irene & Evangeline decided to give her a treat @Paris Buffet Restaurant. Paris is always a restaurant i always wanted to go..... but after today, i will never go back there again..... Steep price, food not fresh, not as sumptuous as imagined ..... basically did not enjoyed myself at all!!!! I think Sakura is better than Paris!
Silent Hill
After much struggling on the food (cos dun wan to waste money....) we went over to City Link's TCC for a cup of coffee and a lonnnnggg chit chat session. Thereafter, Pei, Irene & Evan decided to go shopping in Chinatown, hoping to get some good bargains from this Great Spore Sale, while Erica & Jess juz wanted to go home and sleep -.- As for me, i spent the rest of the night with Desmond walking around Suntec then went on to watch Silent Hill. We each paid $3.50 for 1 ticket as i have 1 complimentary GV ticket....

Encounter with a Bitch!!!
17th June 2006 (Saturday)
Damn fucking, bloody, bitch she is ....... (S**** A*******) Really a disgrace to the religion she believes in, this is the 1st time i see a religious woman so unreasonable..... Kicking a big fuss out of a small issue..... Went to meet a colleague (P** K****) at her work place to pass her a camera, so she suggested that i stayed in the office to wait for her till lunch. So i just sat beside her, not even distracting her from work or anything, then this S.A came over and started barking (Female dog aka Bitch) saying that outsider are not allow in the dept.... P.K was like WTF, im not an outsider, im an existing staff.... there's even ex-staff coming back.... why is it that a current staff comes over and its not welcomed, while the resigned staff can come back. Its no logic at all, ex-staff is no longer an emplyee of the organisation, the more S.A should chase them out, instead of me..... Bias DOG!!!

This incident alone is enough to spoil my whole day!!! Actually wanted to go back home after meeting P.K but i felt so disturbed by the barking voice in my head, so i decided to go Bugis to play a few round games. After that, went home, called D****** to complain about ths Bitch!!! DC is so kind to lend me his ears.... after much complaining and swearing at that Dog, i feel so much better. Really thankful to DC's consolation and advises, or else i think i will have a hard time sleeping .......

18th June 2006 (Sunday)
Whoohooo, had so much fun today..... spent the day at Suhaimi's house helping me to fix up his PC and also to install some useful programs. So i got to play with his really realy really active son "Bean" (Nickname given by his dad). Watched Mr Incredible together and we played with his little remote control car....

Later in the evening, when Suhaimi's wife and daughter came back from a wedding dinner in Johore. Suhaimi, myself, "Bean" & his daughter "NaNa" went over to White Sand for dinner. Had our dinner @Magic wok "Bean" vomitted as he drank too much Bandung!!!! And Suhaimi has to go buy a new shirt for him while i just stayed in the restaurant with "Nana" cleaning up the mess.... quite gross, but guess i have to do it some day =P "Bean" is crying looking for his father, but some how i managed to stop him from crying.... played with him till Suhaimi comes back...... whooo, quite tiring but fun thou =P

Just in 1 day, i know what's the difference of having a daughter and a son. Having a daughter is like having a friend who likes to talk alot, and they are much more obedient and smarter than boys, but having a son is fun but not easy, they are always so hyper active.... never seems to quiet down, running around.... but its really fun just to watch them run and jump, but frankly speaking it is really tiring looking after a boy than to a girl.... Now am looking forward to be a father soon =P Having children around really help drives all stress away ......

All the Yummy Dishes
Yummy!!!
Was having dinner @Pei Kheng's hse 2days ago, and we were talking about organising a dinner together with Irene & Evan, and i juz casually mentioned that i loved Pig's Brain soup and misses it very much =P And so during the dinner today with Irene & Evan, Pei was really very nice to cooked the Pig's Brain soup for me! Was really touched as i know that nowadays its not easy to find Pig Brains in the market any more...... And besides that, Irene and Evan is not so adventurous to eat the brain.... for Evan she don't even like the soup!!! So Pei has got to cook another pot of Black Chicken Soup for them.....

Really enjoyed my dinner tonight..... after the 1st plate of rice, i even went for a 2nd plate as all the dishes are so marvelicious..... The fried fish, the prawns, the 麻油鸡 EVERYTHING tastes sooooo good, this time i rate a 10 / 10 for her cooking. Whoooo what a satisfying meal...... =P

Tasty "Bi Tai Mak"
12th June 2006 (Monday)
Whoooo, Monday blues easily engulfed by a bowl of tasty home made "Bi Tai Mak"!!!
Such a homely gal ..... =DMmmm, tasty looking carrot
Pei Kheng came over from my office after she knocked off from work. She came all the way not because of me..... but to distribute the chocolates she bought to some of our fellow colleagues as she has resigned from the Bank (another casualty). Thereafter, she suggested me to go over to her place as she feels like cooking. So after i finish work, we went shopping @Tampines Mall's NTUC. Bought some simple stuff, veggies, beans, chicken fillet and a packet of Bi Tai Mak .......

Took bus 38 to her house then she immediately started cooking as im complaining that im super duper hungry hahahaha, while i just sit in the hall watching tv and surfing net =D Exactly like a 大少爷 ......
My
Mmmm, tasty Bi Tai Mak
After 30min or so, finally she came out with this bowl of colourful Bi Tai Mak. Taste kinda blend, but once in awhile, it could be quite tasty =P and so...... i gave a 7.5 / 10 and she very satisfied by the score =D

The Omen
10th June 2006 (Saturday)
Saw "The Omen" with JianHui and Chris @Suntec, For people who has not seen it and intends to watch it.... DON'T WATCH!!! (Not meant for the weak hearts....... cos its too LOUSY! =D) Any way, it was really a disappointing show, should have listened to my colleagues advice. Sigh.... no wonder the reviews rate this show with only 2stars. Now can only hope that the up-coming "Silent Hill" will not be such a disappointment......

Saw 2 posters of the show, i wonder who would think the red 1 is nice??? =P

Adidas Bag
Ferrero Rocher
06th June 2006 (Tuesday) 060606
I love being me!!! =D Previously got Famous Amos Cookies from Faridah and now a box of Ferrero Rocher from Pamela & Annabelle!!! Seems like i have not lost my charm abit at all =P Actually the reason they bought me the chocolate is bcos i, in a way helped them solve a work related problem....
My love at 1st sight Adidas BagI look so good in with this bag =P

Besides the chocolate that brightens up my day, the Adidas bag that i bought today also cheered me up alot. Its an Adidas bag that i bought it from Tampines Mall after my lunch with Sam. When i saw this bag its love at 1st sight =D The bag was actually selling at $35 but due to the Great Spore Sale, im entitled to a 15% off so i only paid $30 for he bag. There's also a matching pouch (similar design to the bag) that also caught my eyes, but as i promised myself that im not going to spend much now, so as i could really enjoy a shopping spree on my upcoming trip to HK and Thai =D Really had a hard time fighting against my urge to buy that pouch.... But eventually i managed to overcome the urge and left the shop immediately after i paid for the bag. Like people say, Out of Sight, Out of Mind, so..... im not going step into that Adidas shop again =D

Pulau Ubin
04th June 2006 (Sunday)
Sunday Sunday... its really a sunny day (and also scourching hot)! Went over to Pulau Ubin for a bicycle-day trip. We bascially ride on the bike under the scourching sun for the whole day (11am-5pm) The hotness today even burned my skin, turning me into a red lobster!

We almost explored the whole Pulau Ubin. We went from Mamam Beach to Tanjong Chek Jawa...... we also tried to locate the rubber plantation and the agriculture farm, but sadly to say, to no avail.... The most exciting part of the trip would be, climbing up a hill that is approximately 60m high (By foot, as the hill is really rocky and steep) At the top of the hill, the scenary is so beautiful that words cannot really describe. Never could have imagine that Spore still has such a beautiful place. When you are standing at the top of the hill, you can see almost the whole of Pulau Ubin and also not forgetting the all so beautiful Ubin Quarry! After the trip, we settled our dinner at a Seafood Center there .....
Map of Pulau Ubin

Its really an eye-opening and experiencing trip there. And now, pictures speaks louder than words, do enjoy some of the pictures i took during the trip ----> Click (Here)

Over The Hedge
3rd June 2006 (Saturday)
Ok.... kena put areoplane by CHRIS HONG!!! Initially was supposed to be meeting up with him to watch Over The Hedge, but last minute saw areoplane flying off! Any way, managed to get Leon to go watch with me @Suntec.

Over The Hedge
Spring has sprung, and Verne and his woodland friends awaken from their long winter's nap to discover that a tall, green "thing" has mysteriously cropped up right through the middle of their home. Enter RJ, an opportunistic raccoon, who explains that the world beyond the hedge is the "gateway to the good life" where peculiar creatures called humans live to eat, rather than eat to live.

Suspicious and even a little jealous of RJ, the ever-cautious Verne wants to keep his blended family safely on their side of the hedge. But, proving the adage that one man's garbage is another man's—or rather animal's—treasure, the manipulative RJ tries to convince the woodland band that there is little to fear and everything to gain from their over-indulgent new neighbors. Eventually, RJ and Verne form an unlikely friendship as they learn to co-exist with—and even exploit—this strange new world called suburbia.

After the show, went over the open-air hawker beside esplanade for dinner. Discussed about of coming Bangkok trip, planned alot of shoppings and also i requested to go to the river market where i can go onto the boats =P Im gonna depend alot on him as he will be my only tour guide there as he's been there quite a number of times ......
