Cousin, Thomas later came over to fetch me over to cousin, Gina's house for our annual Xmas dinner ^^ Yeah, a time for the family to get together and have fun and gift exchange ^^ During the dinner, i suggested that for next year's dinner, why not have a BBQ style instead of the traditional turkey dinner and will eventually ends with a log cake as dessert -.- So, im looking forward to something new next year, hope they will plan for a BBQ session instead =D

Xmas Eve 2006
24th December 2006 (Sunday, Xmas Eve)
23rd Dec 2006, 2105hrs Rush rush rush.... OMG got a bus to catch at Golden mile @2215hrs and im still at Tampines! Gotta be quick, cannot procrastinate any more!!! The KL trip was kinda a last minute thingy.... a camp mate of mine actually jio-ed me to KL juz last Tuesday. And thinking that im always spending Xmas either @Orchard or some clubs/pubs so decided that i should have a change.... so i agreed for this last minute trip.

Reached KL at around 0500hrs and due to the last minute plan, we did not book any hotel, thinking that we can just simply check into any hotel, be it budget or any hotel as long as there's a place to rest that will do.... but we were so wrong to made that move! Every single hotel there is FULL!!! We walked like almost 1hr along the quiet street of KL and we could not even find 1 single hotel that has juz 1 availbale room! That's how bad it was!!!! So no choice, we waited till the 1st train arrive and we took it down to KL Central and immediately 2 very tall building caught me eyes! It's the "Hilton" and "Le Meridien" hotel. Not wanting to walk any more, so i insisted that we check into either one of them..... We eventually chose Hilton as it's RM$20 cheaper than Le Meridien =P but still it costs like RM$426 -.-

At the Twin Tower Sky Bridge
On Sky Bridge

Dinner @Manhattan Fish Market
Dinner Time!

Any way, we rested for 2 hour or so before making our way to the Twin Tower (World's 2nd tallest building) for the Sky Bridge Tour. We queued for like almost 2hrs before we went in for a 15mins tour on the Bridge where we get a clear view of KL, and thereafter we had our brunch @Manhattan Fish Market. Was kinda hesitant as dunno if its as good as Spore's but still decided to try it out as we were really hungry then..... and to my surprise, its as good as Spore's, and the best part that its very cheap! The Fish & Cheap is like only RM$14.00!

Had our fills and we went on a shopping spree!!!! Did some really last minute shopping there.... Bought an Adidas bag for my cousin, Gina and also 2 Nike Tees, 1 for my dearest best fren, Shawnie and the other 1 for a good fren of mine, Pika-Chew =P From there we decided to go back to the hotel to rest as we really were tire out by the long bus ride =(

At night we went on to Bukit Bintan for some more shopping spree... This time round i did not buy anything as i think i might have over budgeted this month =( so i need to control on my spending Sobz T.T It was really crowded there, it's really similar to what's happening @Orchard Rd, crowded with youngsters having fun, partying and the usual spraying of the foamy thingy at people -.- I was so afraid that i will get sprayed so i spent most of the time in the shopping mall =D Had a quick count down and we rushed to the bus station as our ride home is 0030hrs. Was kinda rushing trip, but was quite fun thou, at least i went some where different from every year =P and i really enjoyed the Sky Bridge Trip ^^

Dilemma
11th December 2006 (Monday)
Yet another lousy day at work. I used to be so strong and never needed anyone by my side and i survived the last 25yrs. Not until recently that i realised that im not that strong after all, im so weak and vulnerable, i get upset so easily. I got nobody to confide in when im down, nobody to turn to in times of need, i need to shout out, i need to cry, i need vend my frustrations! Think im going into a state of depression..... ARGH....

Its been another lousy day at work. For the past 2 weeks i have been struggling to go to work. This is the 1st time in the last 2yrs 9mths in SCB that i had this feeling, and it feels really sucks and i hated it! The management is killing all my enthusiasm in my work. Have been constantly thinking of leaving my job. Management is applying pressure causing me to go into the state of dilemma. Maybe its time for me to have a change in environment. So i guess for the time being i can only let nature takes its course.

Re-Servist
28th November 2006 (Tuesday)
Whoa shiok ar, song ar... this is what i get from my colleagues when they hear me saying that i will be going for my re-servist. Most of them in fact are looking forward to their re-servist. Mostly claims that its a time for some gatherings with old friends and slack..... They even says that time passes very slowly as there's really nothing to do, and basically you just need to find ways to sleep throughout the whole duration.....

Until when i personally went into re-servist then i realise that those things they say were just merely words of encouragements..... Everything back there is like going back to BMT training.... except that we don't kena tekan like "dogs"

What we did during these 3days of training 28/11/2006-01/12/2006 is bascially just some refresher course on how to operate the rescue equipments and also to re-train us up physically! Nothing else but sweat sweat sweat and more sweat, training under the hot sun really almost got me dehydrated -.- And for those who have not went for their re-servist, hope and pray for good vocations..... and never hope for anything that people tell you, most of the time it will only end up to you as a DREAM!

Burnt & Cooked
Hand Burnt & Cooked!

Just look at what the sun did to me and you can roughly imagine how the training was like and i did not sleep throughout my reservist =(

Some PHOTOS! during my training.

SCB Annual Dinner & Dance 2006
24th November 2006 (Friday)
Its the time of the year again where all SCB staff can let down their hair and have fun the whole nite long.... This year our D&D was held at Suntec Convention Hall, previous years it was held at Swissotel. But any way, most importantly is that every had fun, we don't really care where it will be held =P

Party till almost 1am before i left with Lena and gang to MOS. Actually my dept had booked a hotel room @Conrad and their plan is to have a second round of drinking session and also to have a game of poker.... but as i feel that im not a good drinker nor a good gambler, so i decided to join the Direct Banking gang instead.....

When we reached MOS, the place is really packed, mostly packed with our SCB staffs as most of them came down straight after the dinner and besides that its a Friday nite hence the club is really packed..... but still we managed to get inside. Did not really have much fun here as we were very disorganised and the other reason is because the place is too packed and most of us got squeezed all over the place and we lost sight of one another, and we ended up partying in many small groups of 3-4 people. Eventually someone got pissed and decided to call it a day, he smsed all of us to meet outside MOS as he finds that it really sux here and also no point of continuing if we are all seperated. So most of the people agreed that its a mistake to come MOS and many decided to call it a day as their mood was ruin, instead of having fun in there, we spent most of our time inside searching for missing people..... and so many decided to go back home while some went for supper and others decided to go some where not so crowded for another round of drinking......

For me i joined Jaslyn and gang for another round @Devil's Bar..... we then took a cab down Forum, had supper @mac before proceeding to Devil's Bar. We then spent the rest of the nite there till almost 6am.... Jaslyn even got drunk and im the one eneded up sending her home as she stays in Tampines, can say that it was fun yet tiring gathering with my beloved colleagues ;)

Nike Free Priority 5.0 (4th Decade Ultraman)
24th Novemeber 2006 (Thursday)
Whooo.... finally got mood to start blogging again, its been quite some time since the last time i wrote my entry. Any way, another update on a new shoe i bought. Recently was really into those really rare and limited edition Nike Free 5.0 shoes. Especially those that can't be bought in Spore. I have some how managed to find a way to make order from Japan via Vpost hence was quite busy doing shopping on the internet =D

In the begining i was quite skeptical about it, as im so scared that it would be some scam that will probably debit the money from me end up sending me something that does not match with what i've ordered, what's worse is that they don't even send me anything and just disappeared with my money =(. But i took the risk on trying it as i really loved the shoe very much. After a long wait, the shoe finally arrived on 24th November and i really heave a sign relieve =D
