Today is 初七so call the人日, so we had 捞鱼生at home.... in actually fact its not really 鱼, it's 鲍鱼! Yeah..... tastes so nice, at least it's something different from the traditional 生鱼片 ^^ Really enjoyed the new dish with a abit of beer to go along with =P
Another squeezy day out with Shawn.... Went to the River Ang Bao located near Marina Square to have a feel of the CNY atmosphere. Didn't really had a filling dinner before we went, so one of our objective is to get our stomach filled there =P
While walking there, a round of fire works started at around 9pm... we were like "WTF" why is there fireworks? Being not informed of the timing of the fireworks, we missed it, only to hear the loud BOOMs =(

This trip was not at all a disappointment as we met our "Objective". We tried out lotsa food there ^^ We had the 臭豆腐 (Video of 臭豆腐seller HERE), wheat grass with green apple drink, 扣肉包 and also some weird looking and slimy China Snack..... And also not forgetting, we even went to the BIG 财神爷 there as there were alot of people crowding there waiting for the 财神to "Throw Money" which is believed to bring good money luck and also some of the "Money" he threw has got 4 numbers on it where you can bet on the 4D..... Being the "Kiasu" Singaporean, we saw some folks opened up the umbrellas and carry it upside down so as to catch more "Money" =.= What an ugly sight....
Sigh... i know this year my ang bao money will be so much lesser liao... cos of the 白事 last year.... So after just a so call gathering dinner instead of the reunion dinner i headed down to Chinatown to have a feel of the CNY atmosphere as till now i have not tried counting down to CNY =D

As expected, very squeezy and packed made our way into the 年货市场 and squeeze thru the whole stretch to see if we can find any good last minute bargains =P Unfortunately the prices was not really that fantastic, heard that if you really want to get a really good price, you gotta wait till around 12+ zzzz So we decided to just walk around and wait for the countdown and fireworks (ClickHERE for Fireworks Video) ^^
While squeezing in the crowd, we came across a store which was crowded with people and there were lotsa people queueing up for something so he made our way thru and discovered that its some really unique Thai snacks (Click HERE for Thai Snack Video). We find the way the make it really interesting hence we joined the queue and go for a try =P The skin is tasteless but inside its wrapped with strips of sugar, kinda like it as i've got a sweet tooth ;)

After some squeezing and pushing, it really tires us out and made us kinda hungry even thou we already had our fills from our reunion dinner.... So we picked out the nearest restaurant we see and went on inside to settel for a round of supper before the final countdown to CNY.
Finally, after so many months of shopping.... my shopping list is finally completed.... I have got all the things that i needed, from tops, bottoms, shoes, accessories (belt, socks) and even undies =P

It's finally here, i have been waiting for it for 1 whole week!!! The mental torturing wait is finally over =P I just got it today when i woke up from my afternoon nap.... Still got no time to watch it yet as i woke up late for my night shift today =( So looking forward to get home tomorrow morning and watch it.....
