Did not plan to go any where special as most of the places will be super damn crowded, won't possibly be able to enjoy as you will be busier pushing and preventing people from stepping on you than enjoying ...... and morever after that you will find yourself perspiring like you juz came out from the pool!
Hence, the program for the nite was a very simple get together with my best buddy and a few frens. Met up with Shawn @Parklane as Keewee's Lan Shop is located there and directly opposite parklane, his mom has a coffee shop there. So they have this so call X'mas get together dinner. Its a buffet style dinner had some red wine and beer. Bought Shawn a Famous Amos gift box with cookies as he loves to munch on tidbits =P

After that went to watch the 3hrs long King Kong with Tim, Keewee, Shawn and myself @Shaw Tower as that will be the least crowded cinema in town. Show ended @ around 0330hrs, took a cab home went straight to bed cos will be going to my cousin's place for a very traditional X'mas get together and gift exchange (This is a yearly thing, so its a MUST go!!!)

Had our dept's own Christmas get together session. Didn't really have anything special as last year we ordered too much food and ended up wasting it. So this year we juz had KFC, some collegues brought Whisky and Red Wine for this occassion. Had a very relaxing talk cock session. And everyone was given a $20 Metro voucher as a token of appreciation.

In the end of the session we had a lucky draw. Rajan walked away with the 3rd prize, $50 Best Denki voucher, i got 2nd, a $100 Best Denki voucher (Sam is the one who drew my name from the lucky draw, Thanks ^^) and as for Kamal, he got the 1st prize of a $200 Best Denki voucher. By the way, the 1 giving out the prizes is our dept's 2nd big boss, Harginder Singh. (A very strict boss!!!!)

Shawn juz came back from Thailand, of cos being a good pal, he bought lotsa stuff for me! Got me a Billabong T-shirt and many many makan makan ....... and most importantly he got me my all time fav the (狗屎 "ba hu"). Went walked around at Sim Lim as i wanted to get a USB hub and a card reader! Got quite a good deal for the card reader, it only costs $9 and the 7 port USB hub costs $29.90 dunno if its consider a good deal or not?

After that headed over to shop around in OG as he's got the OG discount card. Saw a few Nike bag which could be a choice as a present for my cousin, but decided to shop for more. Headed over to Seiyu came across the "Paris Hilton" fragrance ($85) (comes with a free watch) which is also a good option! But still want to shop for more options!!!!! Ended up in the Nike boutique, saw this white jacket ($75) which i feel will be the best choice as my cousin often goes for her yoga lesson in spaghetti stripes hence she can use this jacket if she's cold ..... Bought a gift box from "A B n C" @$6 .....
Da-baoed our dinner from Yakitori and we each bought a bottle of ice tea from cold storage and we settled our dinner seated outside the cinema ...... (it's been a long time since we had dinner there together =P) After that he had to go over to Bishan to meet his dear to go watch King Kong 11pm show, bid our good byes and went seperate ways .....
Initially SCB is supposed to have a year end dinner cum bowling competition @Marina South, but due to the responses was not very good from the staffs, hence it had been changed to a buffet style dinner in the office.
A very simple get together dinner with a speech from our head of credit thereafter was some award presenting for some outstanding staffs (like "No MC for the year award, Most punctual staff Award ....)

Sob sob ... its Nynn's last day =( although she's juz transferring out to another dept, but still felt like losing a good colleague. Already missing her now =( Even thou i don't know her for very long (as she's from a diff dept as i am) but still she treats me very nice, although at times she like to disturb me, but still she'll offer me makan makan whenever she has got somethings to eat ...... will still flood her with all my junk mails =D Im sure will get a chance to work together again some day =P
Oww .... how can i forget to mention about this in my previous entry! Juz wanna say a big Thank You to Clarissa (a colleague of mine) who informed me that AirAsia is giving away free tickets! Being a typical S'porean, of cos i won't lose out to such opportunities, hahaha! Been trying and refreshing the page for all so many times, until i even lost count, even my mgr is trying hard to get in too =P
All my hard work did not let me down in vain, managed to get 2 tix to Bangkok on 29/07/06 (Sat) 1535hrs and will arrive in Bangkok @1655hrs, Flight No:FD3504. Be back on the 01/08/06 (Tue) 1645hrs, will reach Spore 2005hrs, Flight No:FD3505 (This is just to remind myself)
12th & 13th December 2005 (Monday & Tuesday)
Coughing madly on Sunday nite, woke up in the morning discovered that i had totally lost my voice!!!!! Went to see a doc and was given 2days MC to rest my throat. Spent my Tuesday at my cousin's condo in Pasir Ris as she had juz recently moved in. Watched abit of DVDs then had our dinner with her son and hubby! Went back home at around 10pm. Getting prepared to go back to work the next day =(
Granted a 1/2 off, hence was not in the mood to work during the 1st half of the day. Was talking on the phone with some colleagues and even bored to the extend of taking a photo of my work desk =P By the way, the giraffe in the picture is Jaspee accompanied by Chip & Dale.

Had lunch with my mgr at street 11 market, then thereafter went back to office to clear abit of stuff before leaving. As i do not have any plans for the day, so i tried my luck calling Jasper to see if he's around Tampines or not. Managed to get him as he's juz having his hair cut in Central so met up with him to have a few games in CS before leaving for Bugis.

Starved myself till 11+ as im meeting Irene, Pei, Samantha, Yvonne and Alvin at Bedok 85 market for supper. Took a train over to Bedok and trsf to bus 222 in order to get there. Had the century egg porridge and some satays as well as some bee hoons. Chatted till abt 3am then share a cab home with Sam and Irene.

Ring, ring, ring ...... Woken up by my hp. Supposed to be meeting up with Shawn to have lunch @Kushin-Bo (some japanese buffet) in Suntec, hence he's giving me a morning call. Appt was at 1pm suntec Toy 'R Us. As usual, went for a snooze after the call and fell into a deep sleep again! By the time i re-woke up, its already 12.15. Hurriedly took a shower and took a cab down. By the time i reach its already 1.20 ...... Decided to eat something else instead as the buffet will end @3pm and if we start then, it will be very 'Bo Hua'.
Went down to the basement to see if there's anything interesting. Came across this gal that is giving out some discount coupons to a new fast food outlet "Carl's Jr". So decided to settle our lunch there. Normally the set meal costs about $11.00 (up-size to medium) but thanks to the coupon, we each save $2.00. Ordered the Portobello Mushroom Burger Meal. Taste like BK's Whopper with Mushrooms, nothing really special, except the size ..... its really HUGE!!!!
After our lunch, was thinking whether to go cycle in East Coast or juz to go catch a movie. Being the lazy personality. Settled for a movie instead =D Watched "Saw 2". The story was good, liked the twist of the story. But was digusted by quite alot of scenes, as i cannot take bloody, gruesome and violent stuffs ...... But all in all its a good show, minusing off those "painful scenes" =P
The long awaited Annual Dinner & Dance 2005, worked so hard for the whole year, its time to relax and have fun ..... The event was held @ Swissotel Stamford Court. Food, Fun and Freinds for the whole nite long, took lotsa pictures with my colleagues as they dressed to the theme of the nite "Heros and Villians". Got 2 seperate group of frens. 1st group, they named themselves "Pure Evil" whom all dressed up as evil villians and the other group dressed up to the theme of "Lord of the Rings".
Had so much fun and drank quite abit but still sober la ^^ Hang around with some of my colleagues as they will be having some other activities after the D&D. Some of them wanted to go Double O and some wanted to juz stay there as there are also some clubs there and even some wanted to go for supper. Couldn't really decide where to go, but im definately sticking with Irene and company as they are the ones that stay in the East area, whom after which i could share a cab home with =P After much of a dilly dallies. We decided to split up as the group is too big and we cannot possibly please everyone's request. So ended up spliting into 3 groups, some went Double O, some stayed in Swissotel and some went for supper! Of cos, im following the Eastern area gang, so majority of them wanted to juz have supper. So Pei, Irene, Samantha, Jessica, Eliz and myself took a cab down to Bedok 85 market for our supper! Chat and eat till around 3.30am then took a cab back. Still gotta work the next day! That's the most annoying part after the party .....
3rd Decemeber 2005 Jasper just came back from his holiday trip to New York. Met up with him to go bugis to play a few games as he missed KOF after 2 weeks of holiday =P He bought me a Toys 'R Us Giraffe from Times Square, New York. I named it Jaspee the Giraffe ^^ and starting making fun of him hahaha. Will be bringing Jaspee to office as Chip & Dale will be there to keep him company ^^
