Wahahaha ...... The time is now 0136hrs, in approximately another 12hrs time, i will be going off to Bangkok for my 1st holiday trip for this year!!! ^^ Juz finished packing my stuffs, guess i basically brought my whole toilet there -.- Shampoo, conditioner, hair care moisturizer, shower foam, facial wash, toothpaste, toothbrush, cologne, shaver etc... All those things could easily weigh around 3kg!

Any way, had just changed Sgd$400 to Thai Baht today, thanks to Sabrina, she's the one who volunteered to changed for everyone of us =D Already felt like a king even before i stepped into Bangkok, with that mere $400, i got myself $9500.00 Baht! =D
Okie.... enough talking.... gonna go have my refreshing shower and enjoy my trip!!!! =DOMG!!! I packed all my shampoos & shower foams in my luggage!!!!! Shit... gonna go dig it out again -.-
Food food food & more Food!!! Basically we ate the whole day! Met up with Timothy, Shawn, Keewee & Nicolas @Kranji MRT. 1st we did after we reached JB would be..... lunch! Settled our lunch @Kenny Rogers. The Kenny Rogers there is really dirt cheap, a decent Kenny Rogers meal in Spore can easily costs SGD$15+ but back there in JB the meal is like only RM$13+
After our lunch we shopped around City Square for awhile before decided to catch a movie as we don't intend to really spend much on shopping..... While choosing what show to watch, we had conflicts as we are in a group of 5, initially Shawn suggested Dorm, but i have already seen it, then Keewee suggested Pirates, but seems like all of us has already seen it.... Nicolas then suggested Lake House, but the only available show time will be @5.30pm, so, if we watch that slot, it will be too late to travel down DaMaHuaYuan for dinner liao.... and so the finnaly suggestion will be from me, and i chose Just My Luck =D And finally all agreed =D They always give in to me 1 ^^

After the movie, was another round of Food! Had dessert @Secret Recipe, we all ordered the same "Brownie with Ice Cream" yum yum yum.... its my all time favorite, its a all must have dessert whenevr i visit Secret Recipe =D While having our desserts, we bumped into Fred, a friend of ours in Spore! Whoa what a coincidence! =D And apparently, he jio-ed us to go Jaya Jusco (a new shopping complex) which is supposed to match our Spore's Takashimaya! Cannot imagine how it looks like, have heard so much about it but never been there before.... We were quite interested to go, but as we are supposed to go over to DaMaHuaYuan for dinner, so we gave it a miss.... but, im gonna definately go there on my next visit to JB ^^
Thereafter took a taxi down to DaMaHuaYuan for dinner, we ordered lotsa food which includes, Vegetables with chilli, Beggar Chicken, Steam Sea Bass, Cereal Prawns & not forgetting Sting Rays! Really had an enjoyable and satisfying dinner together, and guess what, we only paid only RM$126.00 for the dinner, which is approx about SGD$60!! You can never get those dishes in Spore with that amount of money you are paying!!! =D Thats what i loved most about JB....

From there we took a cab back to the custom, plan was to take a train home, as most of us has never tried taking the train from JB to Spore, so we were so excited to try it =D But sadly while checking the rates at the train station, we were sad to hear the the last train has departed..... We reached the station @ around 8.50pm and the train is like, deprated @8.45pm.... we were like WTF we were just merely 5mins late :( Guess will have to try the train on our next visit =D
Haha, have not been updating recently.... really feeling very lazy lately =D Any way back on 15 July, i met up with a group of Dota online friends to watch Pirates of the Caribbean. Initial plan was to watch it @PS, as its a blockbuster. The tickets have longged sold out -.- so decided to play a few games while waiting for 2 other friends.....
Time flys when you are playing games =P By the time the other 2 person reached, its already 11.30pm, they thought that we had already bought the tickets.... but.... we have not -.- Only then we started to panick.... Only chance to go over to the new Cathay Cineplex, if its sold out there then our plan is to walk over to Cineleisure! So i decided to call some of my friends to check the availabilty via the internet at home. Tried calling Shawn & Desmond, sadly both of them are out! So no choice but to take a bet and walk over ....
Stared at the "Show Time Board" 12.30am - Sold Out, 2am - Selling Fast! Being a lazy me, not wanting to walk over to Cine, so i decided to try my luck asking if there are any more good seats available. To my surprise, the gal in the ticket booth says that due to the overwhelming response, they have decided to open 1 more cinema for the 2am slot! Whoa so lucky! We were the 1st group to buy the tickets, the whole cinema is empty, so we got the priviledge to choose any seats we want =D Sadly, after so much trouble, did not find the show really that fantastic.... Sigh....
16th July 2006 (Sunday) Its been a long time since i stepped into a library! Met up with Jessica, Desmond & Sean @Bugis, had the famous Fried Wanton Mee for lunch then we proceeded to National Library! Why out of the blue im going to a library??? =D I won't be agreeing to spend my day in a library unless otherwise hahaha. Actually, we went there to do some research on our upcoming trip to Hong Kong!
Pulled out a few travel guides to HK, sat down at a cafe, penned down the popular places of interest, and also not forgetting shopping paradises! Then we nominated Jessica to plan in those places to go into our schelduled duration =D Initially they pointed me to do it, but as i already did the booking of air tickets and hotel, so i escaped from this chore =D
After that, went over to Katong to meet Andy & Andrew for a few games of Dota. Had supper together with them @the famous Katong Laksa before heading home for a refreshing bath.
Was another quiet day at work.... Was reading some of the forwarded emails from some of my colleagues, came across some facts which i totally agree.... It's on the Difference between a Man & a Woman. Enjoy ..... =D
What a boring Tuesday.... kena pang seh by stupid Sam, he took 1/2 MC abandoning me in the office with no lunch partner ..... =( Beside that, time really passes very slowly today as the work and call volumn was low too, causing it to be a very slow moving and sleepy afternoon! Don't have any mood to even go out for lunch ..... Sigh .....
Curry Chix & Mushroom Chix Pizza
Decided to order Pizza back to office to eat instead, so i jio-ed Nelson to eat as Pizza Hut's serving is always very big. Initially we ordered a regular size Seafood Supreme Pizza (with Cheezy Lava) (Price $25.10), but after some discussions, we called back the delivery call center to change our orders to the Promotional Meal which come with 2 regular pan pizza @only $19.90
We ordered a Curry Chix Pizza & a Mushroom Chix Pizza. Then again, surfing the Pizza Hut's site, craving for more, we decided to order a Beef Lasagne, some salad and also a Garlic bread =D This time round i asked Nelson to call in to change the order again as i already called in once to change order so im too shy to do it again =P But .... sadly, when Nelson called up again, they inform us that the delivery man has left! So if we order those items, we need to pay a $2 delivery charge as the order is less than $20..... so no choice to just have to survive with what we've ordered =(
Yeah yeah yeah, so excited, finally can go get the white berms i always wanted to get le.... Shawn told me about this white berms last week as he saw it @Zara. Last week i did went down to Taka's Zara to check it out, true enough its there! Sadly it wasn't my size.... as it was quite late then, so did not get the chance to go over to Liat Tower's Zara.
Met up with JianHui, got him to accompanied me down to Orchard to get it... WHAO LAO..... totally sold out, not even a piece left.... i was like WTF.... its only 1 week and all is gone! Really very low morale liao cos this white berm i saw is exactly the type i like. After that we spent the whole day shopping around Orchard... from Heeren to Taka, from Taka to Far East, can't seems to find any white berms!!! SOBZ.... Sigh.... and so left Orchard empty handed. As for JianHui, being a Rich-Man's-Son cannot go home empty handed.... so he just bought a T-shirt from Zara just for the sake of buying something -.-
Then JianHUi drove over to Bugis to do the usual.... (Play game....) Was not in any mood for games as still im still feeling disappointed! =( Decided to jio Hanzy out as he's always so "Funny" looking, hoping that his all so funny look can cheer me up =D
Re-Cycle starring Li XinJie
After meeting up with Hanzy, we had Wanton Mee for dinner with Yama, JH & Firered, decided to catch a midnight movie later on.... I suggested "Re-Cycle" as i always love Horror movies! Most of them agreed and we went off to buy the tickets. As the movie is @12am, so we split up into 2 groups, JianHui & Co continued their gaming session while Hanzy and i went shop around Bugis, hoping to find my white berms =X but still to no avail..... But this time round, was not really sad when i could not find the berms cos i got Farnie Hanzy to talk to me while shopping! Whahaha!!!
After that rested our feets @mac along with FireRed, had supper and chit chatted for awhile before meeting up with the rest to go watch Re-Cycle....
Another Shattered Heart in this world..... A call from a good friend informing that his 1yr 7mth relationship has came to an end. I know that i have to be there no matter what.... cos he's one friend whom i cannot lose cos he's one friend whom lent me a shoulder to cry on when i needed one, a friend who kept me company the whole day when i needed him on his anniversary day.....
Met up with him @East Coast Park, did not really talk much as im always a lousy talker (except for talking bullshit....) so the only thing i did was to lend him a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear.... I know even if i say anything at that time, nothing will go in, during that moment everything just revolves around the past, the times they spent together.... It won't be easy to let go, especially for the next 6mths or so, sleepless nights, crying, and feeling sorry for oneself..... but after awhile you will start to think whether is it worth it? You yourself crying and feeling sorry for yourself at night. Nobody will hear you cry.... Nobody will take pity on you..... the best part is, the other party might be out having fun, enjoying life.... so why waste your time on some one who doesn't even care? I know talk is cheap, no one will think this way in the initial stage of heart-break.... but eventually you will realised what i said make sense cos you will definately come to point when you truely wake up from the fairytale dream..... A person once told me this "Freedom comes when you learn to let go...." So when its time to let go, so be it......
A friend can be there when you need someone to talk to and to cry with, but at the end of the day. The only person who can help you is Yourself.... we are all grown ups, gotta stand up again after a fall..... it might leave a scar, but that will remind you of the pain that you've gone thru and you should be glad that you've made it thru..... And from this experience, it will definately make you a stronger person.....
Saw "Superman Returns" with Zehui, a gaming friend of mine when i was 15yo hahaha. Have not seen him for a very long time as he has quit gamer very long ago. Only decided to meet up while we were chatting over msn and talking about when we last met.....
Met up @PS had dinner @Manhattan Fish Market, talked about all our old friends, updated each other about those friends that we each kept contact with.... Thereafter, took a slow stroll down to Taka's Zara as Shawn told me he saw a white berms (Always wanted to buy white berms, but can't find nice ones ....) but sadly, they ran out of sizes! So hopped over to Gramaphone as an old friend of ours, Guangwei, is working there. Having walked all the way from PS to Taka, my mentality is to at least buy something =P so i bought a Code 1 DVD "The Net" starring Sandra Bullock at only $35 after a 10% staff discount wahaha.....
After which, rushed back down to PS to catch our 8.30pm show..... Now im looking forward to Sandra Bullock's new movie "The Lake House" (Screening 27/07/06) starring Keanu Reeves and of cos Sandra Bullock. Readers out there (If any) pls do give your full support to this upcoming movie!!!
Today is Irene's 24th Birthday! Sincerely wish her a Happy Birthday, wishing her a blissful relationship with her "cop" =D Any way, celebrated her bday at Pei's house along with Jessica, had steamboat for dinner. Actually we invited Evan, Desmond & Darren to come over too, Evan is currently holidaying in China, Darren, as usual he put us areoplane and as for Desmond, he has to attend RT so he can't make it wahahaha!!!

Every dinner at Pei Kheng's house is always satisfying and filling as she can really cook, and besides that, Pei and i had known each other for quite some time liao, so whenever i go her house i not pai seh one, juz eat and eat whahaha! This time round, dinner is steamboat.... with 2 soup to choose from Tom Yam and Chix Soup! Being a non-spicy me, i took the Chix soup......
