29th Sept 2005, Thursday Feeling sad, depressed, annoyed, frustrated, angry, pissed, troubled, irritated ...... and now CONFUSED! Don't know what should i feel! Whole day was "gloomy". Did not sleep well last nite, gotta take sleeping pills in order to get to sleep. Then woke up at 9am. Bathe and went to work. 1st thing i got to know when i got to office was ... I LOST $200 from the soceer bet i placed yday! This is enough to spoil my day. My mgr Sam knows that im really sianz after the "news" so he has been trying to cheer me up. He treated me to lunch, thou he is not treating me to some fanciful restaurant, but still i should be grateful liao, cos im now $200 poorer!
I know i can't blame anyone for this .... only person to blame is myself for being too greedy. Not only this that pissed me off, even the customers is pissing me off... received a call from M1 ... and the conversation goes ...
Michelle : Calling from M1 @West Mall, 1 of your SCB customer wants to sign up for the 0% instalment. Me : Whats the card number .... blah blah blah, ok hold on pls! (Call on hold, then i processed the request) Me : Ok Michelle the approval code is ..... Michelle : *giggle* forgot to add GST leh, can change the amount? Me : HOLD ON! (Put call on hold and re-process) (Another call came in) Customer (MrYeo) : Hello, my wife's wallet is lost is Beijing would like to cancel her Credit Card. Me : Ok sir, i will temporary block the acc, pls advise your wife to call us to do a verification. Mr Yeo : Ok, but i want you to send me a change of address form ... blah blah blah full of requests!!! And told me loads of grandmother stories ...(whole conversation lasted abt 10mins) Me : (went back to take Michelle's call) Ok your approval code is .... Michelle : WHATS THE MATTER WITH YOU? Im on hold for soooo long! Me : i told you to hold on, as u wan to chg amt, hence i need to re-process ... Michelle : Then you should tell me how lon should i wait! The customer is waiting you know? Me : HELLO!!! Listen, we got thousands of calls per day, you don't expect me to go ... M'am hold on for 2mins, Sir hold on for 3mins .... we got no time for this! Michelle : You are very rude! What is your name? Me : Patrick, Ok THANKS for calling BYE! (hung up)

Seafood .... Seafood .... and more Seafood. Had seafood for dinner for 3 consecutive days! Actually today im still official on leave, as our dept had a small get together session, and our big big boss will be present too so no choice had to go ..... Had dinner @ Kampong Chai Chee (A Halal Seafood Restaurant juz opposite my office) Had baby KaiLan, butter prawns, curry fish head, curry chicken, deep fried sotong, hot-plate toufu, fried rice and mee goreng. Had another satisfying dinner, AGAIN! But today i have been trying not to eat so much, as previously already had too much. I really have to think of a way to cut down on my diet, have been eating non-stop recently. I think i will need to set my determination to really go do some exercise. I've been growing & growing, if thats not going to stop soon, think i will explode soon ...... But the way, saw that Singh on the picture? He's my boss's boss, dun play play hor, he really very fierce de hehehe!
2nd trip to JB this week ..... Supposed to be in Thailand, but thanks to my dear friend, Leon, im now spending my leave in Spore and JB -.-" Today went to JB with Leon, met up at 11am @Bugis, took the bus in. First stop will always be the City Square. Settled our lunch @ Sushi King there. Following that, decided to catch a movie 1st. Watched the "Flight Plan" starring Jodie Foster. This show has not even screened in Spore. After the show, shopped around City Square, and un-noticingly bought a short again .....
2nd stop is Pelangi .... this is the most boring shopping centre i ever came across! Really got nothing inside. Only a Cold Storage and lotsa furniture shops O.O But still we had to walk around cos we have reach there liao. Didn't walked for long, rest our feet @ "Secret Recipe". Ordered the 'look so yummy' brownie i saw yesterday with Shawn. It tastes as good as it looks! And the best part is, it costs only RM6.50. a brownie like this could easily cost $10++ in Spore. After that, we ventured into some small roads and lanes near Pelangi and discovered a shop that sell Squirrel Meat!!!! How could people eat something soooo cute! Thats so inhumane!
3rd stop is Holiday Plaza .... think most of us Sporean know that this a heaven of Pirated DVDs. Shopped around there for quite awhile. Found a shop that sell all kinds of anime in 1 of the corner. I really loved this shop, cos the really carries a wide range of anime, even have the Full Dragon Ball TV series ..... but too bad its too ex for me (RM400.00) so we did not get anything from there. Besides DVDs, this place is also a Salon heaven. Theres nothing at the top most floor of this building except for salons ..... I wonder how the vie for business like this! Bought some tidbits @ this stop! Bought some triangular durian cakes and agaim bought some more 狗屎 for more colleagues of mine.
Last stop for today ..... 大马花园 aka Sentosa! The most popular seafood spot for Sporeans. Even thou i had just been here yesterday.... but still looking forward again, cos the food here is really marvelicious! Today we ordered a steam 金目卢 "Kim Bak Lo (Hokkien)" Black Pepper Crayfish (yesterday we had Cereal crayfish 麦芽虾婆) and last but not least Baby KaiLan! Had a satisfying dinner then is time to come back to Spore!
Actually quite sian, cos initial plan for my leave is to go Thailand with 1 of my CitiBank ex-colleague, but he did not book the air tickets .... Thanks to him, then trip has to be cancelled. Thought i could take this chance to have a short get away since the incident 3days ago. But still, i consider myself lucky, cos i still have an all time reliable friend, Shawn, he knew that im feeling really down after what had happened and he's so kind to have agreed to keep me company for today even thou he's suppose to attend to an event with his deary ..... bcos of me, he skipped the event!
Went to JB with him as i told him that im really sick of Spore .... evem thou both of us are not familiar with JB but we still went. Took the MRT to Kranji and change a Malaysia Bus to JB. Bumped around the Msia custom for awhile then headed to buy ourselves a drink. Went into the 7-11 there. Decided that we should try something that we can't find in Spore, and so i bought a can of gasey Lychee drink and he bought an unfamiliar can of coffee. Both drinks tasted horrible .... Puke!!! Went continued our journey to City Square. Shopped around for abit and had lunch at the Food Court, i had a fried chicken set lunch with Ice lemon tea (RM9.00). After that decided to catch a movie as we really got nothing much to do, and the movie tickets there is so much cheaper than Spore, so why not take this opportunity =P Watched the Korean horror "Red Shoes" its really a very frightening show, and we noticed that the gals there like to scream out loud ..... -.-"
After the show we really went on a shopping spree .... theres a corner in that Mall that resembles "The Edge" @Bugis. The things they sell here is almost similar to "The Edge". I bought a pair of shorts and also a T-shirt, while shawn bought a Nike Sneaker and a pair of Nike socks to go with it. And also we bought quite alot of snacks ...... He bought a few packets of some "Pong Bia" and some local crackers and i also won't go home empty handed also, so i bought 3 packets of my all time fav "Ba Hu" aka "狗屎". By the time we finished with out shopping, its already 7.30pm ......
Time to have our dinner .... He remembered that he once went to a place called something like "Sentosa" that offers really cheap seafood. So we hail a cab and just explore further ..... It was not difficult to locate the place cos he's been there before. We really did had a sumptuous feast. We ordered, a plate of sting ray, a plate of cray fish, a plate of baby kai lan, a plate of fried oyster, a glass of gigantic sugar cane juice, 10 sticks of mutton satay, 10 sticks of chicken satay and 2 rolls of Po Pia (薄饼). Everything just costs about SGD$30.00 ...... thats really dirt cheap lor!!!! After the meal both of us really got problem walking le ..... took a cab back to the custom as its already 9pm le .... sigh! Time to go home .....
P.S. Thank you Shawn, for being there for me whenever im down. I really enjoyed myself today. You really are my greatest pal.
Exactly 6months from our 1st unhappy encounter .... And now, a chapter of my life ends. Finally have decided to lock up and bury all the happy, sad and fun moments of the past 3years. It was not an easy decision, but im really tired of dragging on. Tears are inevitable in moments of heart-break, but i will rather suffer for another year or so for the wounds on my heart to heal, then to drag on and let it deteriorate. Might as well end it now than suffer a great deal later .... 长痛不如短痛. I have totally given up all hopes .... i know some how, i will live with it.
I don't hate "you" its just maybe we are not meant to be ..... i will still thank you for all the happy memories, i will keep it in me till the last of my breath. With that, you have ended one of the happiest moments of my 24years time. Hope that you will be happy always and take care ....
The next thing i will need to do now is to remove all things that will remind me of "you", T-shirts, CDs etc ..... All i'm hoping now is that i will make it through this "Rain" soon ...

Today is Pamela's Big Day, (actual day is tmr la 18th Sept) .... her 21st Bday! Whoa this is the 3rd bday i went this month ..... Today was really a very rushing day for me. Why? Cos i need to work from 10am-2pm then have to rush down to Bugis to collect the B.day Gift for Pam, and after that is to find out how can i get to Pam's place. Hang around Bugis for awhile as its still quite early. So went to shop around for a frame for the present i bought. After that walked over to Park Lane to take bus 147 to Serangoon, then have to change to feeder svc 317 in order to get to her place. Was kinda tiring, but all is worth, cos i get to have fun together with my colleagues, which i normally don't have much chances to go out with them. After all, its a really a day of fun and laughter.

What an awful day this is ..... Went to work as usual, but at around 11.30am, i started feeling giddy and nauseous, so decided to go see the Company's Doctor during lunch. After the diagnosis, the doc says that it must be something i ate the night before ..... Thinking back, i remembered i ate an orange which tastes abit funny last nite but bcos its really very sweet, and so i juz finished the whole thing =P but never thought of ended up sick -.- And so the Doctor gave me a 1/2 day MC to rest.

Met Leon to go Suntec as he wants to regiter for some insurance courses. After that we had our lunch at Marina Sq food court then we juz shopped around MS for a lil while, then we bid farewell at around 5pm. Went to meet Shawn at PS as i needed to get a present for Pamela's 21st Bday. Thinking of getting someone to draw a portrait of her, and so we have to walk the whole stretch of Orcahrd to find an Artist that sits along the streets. Finally found 1 along Somerset, but he told me that he only do cartoon drawings, but he recommended a freind of his to me, and so immediately i gave his friend a call. Luckily he was juz around Orchard area that time, and so rushed over to Far East Plaza to meet up with him. Handed a photo of Pam to him, and made arrangement to collect the portrait from him on 17/9/05 at Bugis Junction. By the way, his name is Jit Leong and he has a website of his own, those who wants their portrait drawn, do look for him, he's really good ^^Click--->Hereto find out more about him.

*Sigh* 2nd Birthday chalet for this month liao..... Attended Isabelle a.k.a Shermie's B.day last weekend (03/09/05, Sat) then today is 1 of my ex-Stanchart colleague's 21st b.day, next weekend will be another of my colleague, Pamela's B.day -.- wallet kena burn big hole liao .... But its good la, can go there have fun, forget all the worries and have a good get together with some old friends too.
Actually next weekend it's not just Pamela's B.day only ..... it's also Shuyi (YaYa) b.day also, she in fact also invited me, but don't think i can make it ba, but will try lor, maybe after Pam's then rush down to YaYa's de lor .... like 歌台感场 so rush .... hope the time allows lor. Then must prepare present also *sigh* It's always a headache to think of what to buy for people .... espcially gals very 麻烦 de ..... still got 5 days for me to prepare, till then think must everyday eat bread for lunch liao. Too many Birthdays in a month ........
Didn't really sleep well last nite ..... Had a short session of smsing session with Nash. The whole day was cooling, really a good day to juz laze around at home. Called Shawn to jio him out, as he was playing DOTA then, so he suggested that we meet up for dinner. And so i juz laze around on my cosy bed in this cosy weather.
Went to Sim Lim to buy the Dungeon Siege II Strategy Guide, bought it at $33.00, Sim Lim really brought back lotsa memories ..... Met up with Shawn after that. He suggested that we have dinner at Geylang, cos he remembered that theres one really very good 山瑞汤. Took MRT to Aljunied and walked down the whole stretch of Geylang, could not find the shop. Then i remembered that theres one 山瑞汤 near "xxx" house. Initially Shawn doesn't want to go there as he's afraid that place might bring me unhappy memories, but i told him its OK anyway i wil need to live with it some how! And so we had our Dinner at this 山瑞之家 located at Lor 36 Geylang.
After that we took a bus down to 油条大王 to have our deserts, had the usual 豆浆 & 油条 and in addition we had a bowl of 面线 too. Really enjoyed my 豆浆 =P
6 mths had passed. Don't know if i really have put the past behind me? Once again i saw "you". I thought my feelings should be numbed by now, but i was wrong. Seeing "you" again makes my heart ache again. So all along i've just been fooling myself that everything is over, but still i can never fool my heart. While taking the bus over to my friends chalet at Downtown east, my MD is playing Stephanie Sun's 《同类》, just don't know why a tear juz roll down my cheek. I'm so sick of this, trying so hard to avoid and hide, but still ..... even going to a friend's chalet i can bum into "you"! Is this just coincidence?
