Knock knock knock ...... "Wake up, wake up, wake up .... we've got visitor" woken up by my granny as another of my relative came over to 拜年 didn't expect there're still people coming, usually all the visiting will be done by 初一 and also I did not noticed that this uncle of mine did not showed up yesterday.
Quickly went wash up and started to play "The Host" Hardly do i see this uncle, its only like in once a year ..... Got to know that his son (my nephew) signed on to Navy last August. Why is it more and more people are signing their lifes to the Government? Probably its because of the good $ i think. Any way, Should be glad to have 1 more guest cos, i easily earned an additional of $50 红包 by juz keeping them entertained =D

After that, played 2 rounds of Dota and watched abit of vcd before headed to Bugis to meet Shawn as he just got back from JB as he went there to 拜年 last nite. Had a sinful feast @KFC, we ordered the CNY Feast which is supposed to be meant for 4pax (8pc Chicken, 6pc Nuggets, 1 box of PopCorn Chicken, 1 Med Whipped Potato and 1 Med Coleslaw) Both of us really finished the whole meal .... and also not forgetting the 2 bottles of 500ml tea we bought from 7-11 =D
Memoirs of a Geisha
Thereafter, went to watched Memoirs of a Geisha, initial plan was to watch Fearless, but as heard that the review for that show is really lousy so we watched Geisha instead. No regrets at all after the show, tis a touching love story on the life of a Geisha. Really enjoyed the show as it really touches my heart .... I personally rate the show 4/5. A must watch movie for those who likes love stories!
Woke up at around 9.30am to prepare as guests are coming over for visiting (拜年), every year i don't need to go visiting as all the relatives will come over to my place as my granny is the eldest in the family.
By 3.30pm all my relatives have already come and gone, and i've collected all the Ang Baos from them. Immediately went to my room to count how much i've collected in total =D ..... $160.00 hmmm, not bad la. Decided to take a nap as later in the evening i'll be going over to Pei Kheng's house to 拜年.
Slept till 7.30pm, took a shower and went over to Pei's house @Bedok South. Reached there at around 8.45pm, not long after that Jaslyn Chen and Kelvin Ho came, chat abit before dinner, midst of dinner Irene Lee and Jessica Sim came, they joined in for dinner. After dinner, laze in Pei's room till 11.00pm then we headed over to Daniel's house (Yio Chu Kang).
When we reached Daniel's house, he's playing mahjong with Julian, Angel and TianGuo so we juz entertained ourselves by eating the left over pizza while watching SCV and not forgetting, playing with his hamsters (In actual fact, torturing =D). Their mahjong game ended @around 12.30am. And we started to play Black Jack till 2.45am and Kelvin sent us home. (Started the game with $15 and end with juz a mere $1.00 extra, wasted the whole nite playing .....)
Happy Chinese Lunar New to all ..... Yeah yeah yeah, Chinese New Year is here again, in other words, its time for bachelors like me to make extra money =D With juz 2 mandarin oranges going up to married couples, with just a few sentence like auntie/uncle "恭喜发财" and i will be able to turn that 2 oranges into at least a $2.00 ang bao whahaha .....
Any way, today is the 除夕夜. And normally the reunion dinner will only be with my granny, cousin (Raymond) and myself, but this year, my fav cousin (Gina) came over with her hubby and son for dinner as they have no time to prepare dinner as they will be going back to England tonight. So Gina came early to help prepare for the dinner.
Dinner ended @ around 8pm and Gina had to rush off as she has got a flight to catch, she will be taking SIA direct to England on tonight's 11pm flight. Hope she'll remember to bring back some gifts for me =P
Just watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2005 airing on Channel 5. With all the alluring and glamourous Super Models from all over the world, it really made me literally sit in front of the TV for the whole 1hr. Not only pretty gals, there's also a performance by a Latino hunk, Ricky Martin.
Hope all you people out there enjoyed the show as much as i do, and im hoping to get hold of all the fashion show's DVDs as collection.
P.S. Im enjoying the show in a artistic point of view not like most of my friends who enjoy the show in a lecherous view =D
Met up with Irene, Darren and Evangeline. Went over to Pei Kheng's house as she has organised a small get together session for close buddies for the new year. Had steam boat together and talked alot about work. Planned to play mahjong after dinner, but most of us still needs to work the next day, hence we dropped the idea of mahjong.
Planned to go on a short trip to KL this March, most likely will be during one of the weekends near to the end of March. Evangeline will be the main organiser, and im in charge of hotel reservations as due to my job scope, i have dealings with merchants that had hotel reservation services, so i might be able to get a good price =D
Had some canned pineapples and Longan for dessert lazed around till around 11+ and we took a cab home. The next meet up will probably this CNY. Most likely will be meeting up at Pei Kheng's house again. Looking forward to it :)
2nd January 2006 Hooray ..... finally got my hands on Madonna's Import Germany Version of her latest album "Confession on a Dance Floor". Picked it up from Guangwei, who's working @HMV Orchard. Thanks to him, i got a discounted price of $40 only (Usual Price $70.00). The CD consist of a 44-page full color photo album and a Bonus Track called "Fighting Spirit" (which is not included in the normal version).
Thereafter, took a train to my nephew's place in Pasir Ris as i wanted to borrow the "WarCraft III" original game from him. When i got there, they were all preparing to go catch movie @Tampines Mall. Initially they wanted to watch "King Kong", but as i've already seen that show, and so we watched "Wallace & Gromit in {The Curse of the Were-Rabbit}" instead. Had dinner @the foodcourt then went over to NTUC to grab some tidbits as the tidbits selling at the cinema is way too expensive. After the show, got a ride home on my cousin's husband's car and i went to bed straight as i still gotta work on the following day .....
Spent the 1st day of 2006 with 1 of my ex CitiBank colleague, Leon. Met up with him @Orchard Cineleisure as we decided to watch The Chronicles Of Narnia. Initially was quite anticipated about the show, but after watching it was quite disappointed as it's not something like i imagined. I expected it to be very similar to Harry Potter, but it isn't. Think the reason is bcos that it's targetted audience are childrens, instead of teenagers or maybe young adults.
After the movie, the initial plan was to have dinner @Geylang, but some spoiler (the rain!) restricted us from going any where far. Decided to shop around for awhile hoping that the rain might stop, but it seems like even after 30mins of mindless shopping, the rain isn't geting any smaller. Hence left with no choice but to settle dinner @Yoshinoya (his treat =P)
Bid our good-bye @around 9+ and i headed to the directions towards P.S as im meeting Shawn and Tim to just sit down for a chat. Went past TS Group. Remembered that Peifen once recommended a Korean show called 天堂的阶梯 which is supposed to be some very touching show. So without a second thought, i bought the Set.
Met Shawn & Tim @P.S Mac, chat till 10.30pm, took a slow stroll to ParkLane to get ourselves some Soya Bean Milk and then Shawn sent me to the bus stop. Bid Tim and Shawn good bye and took bus no 12 straight home.
Blogging about New Year's Eve now ...... i know its abit too late now, as recently im becoming really lazy, hence dragged till today to blog my New Year's activities.
Met up with Peifen @around 6.15pm @Buona Vista MRT as she will bring me to this Cafe/Bar called "211 Rooftop Cafe" in Holland Village. Tell you people, this place is really amazing. Soothing music with an excellent ambience. Surrounded by a garden and having dinner under the moonlight really relaxes my mind. (Dinner Spread : Salsa Nachos (Appetizer) Seafood Rice for me, Fishermen Plater for Peifen. Beverage : Lychee Martini for me, and a Raspberry Soda for Peifen)

Thereafter met up with Shawn, Tim and Keewee. Count down @Mox Bar, a small party together with some buddies makes me feel great! Drink, Poker & Chit Chat till 3am and took a cab home ...... Really had an enjoyable last day of Year 2005!
Woken up by a tickle on my foot, was being forced to wake up @7am as need to go gate-crashing with Sam. Ate abit of breakfast and proceeded to 抢新娘 met up with the other 3 of his "brothers" Keith, Brandon and the other guy forget the name le =P
Once we reached Karen's place (Sam's wife) Karen's "sisters" had already prepared a series of sabotage games for us. On a small table outside the gate placed a plate of sandwiches, a glass of funny looking drink, a paper, a pen and some oil control film 吸油纸. First thing we tried is to bribe the "sisters" with ang baos ..... but it seems like they are too greedy!!! We gave them $88 initially but after some bargain, Sam topped it up to $100 still they are not satisfied, the "sisters insisted that they want blue notes in the ang bao, as Sam really did not prepare that much so i search my wallet and found the blue note the wanted .... (A $1 malaysian ringgit =D) Upon seeing that, the sisters say that we are not sincere at all, they showed the camera man the note and say that since we are not sincere then they suggest we play games instaed. The first task is to finish the plate of sandwich, we were thinking that there must be some funny ingredients in the sandwiches, but according to the "sisters" its just some breakfast prepared for us (how thoughtful). The 2nd task is to finish the big glass of funny looking drink!!!!! It smelled like F*** the smell alone is enough to make you puke, but we've got no choice but to finish the drink together as this will be part of the task in order to get the bride. So each of us gotta drink at least a mouthful in order to proceed on the next task. (The drink consist of Guiness Stout, Sesame oil, raw egg, vinegar, chilli sauce and many many other disgusting ingredients! Really mad us almost puke ......) after that we gonna use the oil control films, wet our lips and stick the film on, we must pass the film with mouth to mouth contact -.- Ok thats 1 simple task ..... and the last task, we "brothers" are not involved. Its just for Sam to write a poem and recite it loudly for Karen!!!! With more than hour of tough battles and games, we finally helped Sam got his wife!
After that was just traveling between Sam's place and Karen's place to offer tea to their parents, to 小桂林 GuiLin for photo shoot and to Sam's new house to let he children 跳床. The whole event ended like about 3pm then we proceed to the hotel (Holiday Inn Atrium). I took a snooze and woke up at 5.30pm to help prepare for the nite.

Dinner started at around 8.30pm, of cos there will be games for the bride and groom, so i came out with this game (have informed he M.C Suhaimi to add in this game =P, tying 2 cherries in front of Karen's breasts and Sam gotta bite them off without hands =D) Drank quite abit cos during the dinner the "brothers" and "sisters" will need to help the bride and groom to drink on their behalf as the guests are bound to make them drink ..... The nastiest drink is a big glass of Red Wine + Martell!!!! And im the one to kena that -.- Dinner ended around 11.30, luckily my boss drove here and i could use a lift home as i think im alreay abit high liao, my colleagues say my face are all red!!! And the next day i still gotta work :( hope i will not die during work .....
Struggled to wake up as i'll be going over to my cousin's place for some family X'mas gathering .... Really got a hard time trying to wake up as i went to watch King Kong till 3am+ the previous day :(
Still managed to got up as if i miss the gathering i will miss lotsa presents =D Luckily, my cousin is now staying in Pasir ris, imagine she used to stay in Choa Chu Kang, and it always takes lotsa effort dragging myself to travel there -.- This year was not as much fun as the previous years cos 1 of my nephew did not come ..... but still an enjoyable gathering! Bought my cousin a Nike jacket ..... My nephew Daniel got a Nike watch, and the other nephew, Lewis got a Remote control car that requires you to piece the thing together!!! And as for myself ..... i got my "CRHMPLER" bag ^^ and also a bottle of perfume "Truth" by Calvin Klein!
Had our dinner before rushing down to Sam's house in Clementi to spend the nite as the next day i will need to go "Snatch Bride" 抢新娘 with him, cos im being invited to be his "Brother" on his wedding =D
