Off day! Today was supposed to be meeting up with Leon and Julie to go YumCha (饮茶) @Chinatown. As Leon got something important to attend to, so our appointment was cancelled. Not wanting to disappoint myself, i called Meizhen if she wants to go YumCha with me =P
Met up with Meizhen at around 2.15pm went down to Chinatown and the timing was just right. 3pm Buffet High Tea ^^ When the waiter came over to serve us, the 1st question was "Do you have the promotion coupon?" We were wondering what promotion they are having now, so Meizhen asked the waiter. Later found out that if we cut out a coupon from 优周刊or print out from a copy from their website, then we are entitled to enjoy the buffet at a special price of $15Nett. Usual was $16.80++ Being the 三八woman, Meizhen tried to use 美人计on the waiter hoping that we could pay the special price without the coupon =P But it seems like 岁月不留人her 美人计no longer works. And so being the 三八us i volunteered to go down to buy a copy of 优周刊=P

Just like always, we ate till 6pm (Last serving for the High Tea Buffet) =D We then went on down to Bugis to meet Yanfen for a shopping spree. Sadly nothing really caught my eye so i ended up empty handed while the 2 women got some really good deals from Bugiss Village.... We also bumped into some guys dressed in the Pirates of Carribean clothings to promote the film. So Meizhen went on over to take a photo with 1 of them =P
From there on we went on to Liang Seah for a drink to do some catching up. Actually i wasn't really keen as im feeling kinda tired. But Meizhen insisted that i kept her company as Yanfen has asked along a guy friend of hers whom is a total stranger from Meizhen. And so our nite ended at almost 1am =(
Alamak.... Went shopping during lunch time yesterday and saw this amazing Nike Free! It's love at first sight.... My intention was to get a slipper or a sandal but now i came across this lovely shoe =/ Don't want to make any hasty decision, so immediately i went back to office.
Called 肥肥for some advices. Asked him if he should see a shoe that he likes and if its not some special edition will he buy it? The answer from him was "NO" so i decided to stick with that decision then....
Then came today, my mind is still thinking of the shoe..... Went down to the shop during lunch to look at the shoe again. At that point im still hesitating on whether to buy it anot? Once again, not doing anything rush, i left the shop got my lunch and went back to office.
9.15pm time to go home, shut down my pc and pack my things. Ok, my mind is made up, looking at my watch, the time is 9.20pm, thinking to myself, if i go back to the shop now, and if its close then i will totally give up the thought of buying the shoe, but if its still open at this hour then im destined to buy it..... By the time i reached the shop, its already 9.35pm, guess what? The shop is still open and there are still quite a numbers of customer in there, so i guess im destined to buy it =P
This could be a birthday present for me as i have not gotten anything for myself for this year's birthday ;) So Happy Birthday to Me ^^
Working on weekends isn't that bad after all =P No boss around to breath down your neck and monitor everything you do or say.....
Canadian Pizzas
Today, Nelson, Julie, Albert, Rajesh, Andrew and myself is on duty..... At around 1.30pm, the call volumn was not really heavy then, and we were discussing on what are we going to have for lunch.... "Canadian Pizza!" I shouted out =D 6-241-0-241 (2 for 1, Oh, 2 for 1) So we ordered 1 Large Atlantis Pizza and got a Veggie Delight for free ^^ Besides that we also ordered a 5piece Jumbo Chicken wings as side dish.... Plus a free complimentary of a 1.5 litres of Ice Lemon Tea to go along with our meal ^^
It's like a small party, we feast and joke. It's so enjoyable when no bosses is around =D And i watched 3 episodes of Nip Tuck on my lappy ^^ Kinda enjoy working on weekends ;)

"Want go supper?" Leon asks. Thinking that even if i don't join him for supper, i would probably end up buying macdonald's back home, so i agreed..... So we ask Albert to join us. At around 9.15pm, while we were packing up, Kelly popped into the office. Since she's here so might as well ask her along.....
"Where you guys want to go at this hour?" Albert asks.... "Changi Village?" I replied. Being at this kind of hour, we guess that that will be the only place that still opens. So we took a cab there.
Decided to have 煮炒for supper as not many stores open late.... Ordered some veggies, fried calamari, Sting Ray and some fried bee hoon. Agreed to have some beer, but never expected that we ended up having 9 bottles =/ Actually wanted to stop after 2 glass or so, but as usual, to 应酬 drank till forget how many le..... =/
When its time to go, the time is already 12.30am.... Took a cab back together as all of us stayed around Tampines area. When i got home, feeling kinda dizzy after the drinks, immediately brushed my teeth, skipped bathing took 2 Panadol and went to bed. Woke up at around 3am, feeling kinda sick, went to the kitchen to drown myself with water. Hoping that it replenishes the water i lost..... I really suck at drinking.....
Thank god, i made it thru the sickly stage and went to work only 15mins late ^^
Everything seems like any ordinary day. Time is 7pm and the big boss has gone back for the day..... I was chatting with Sam when Alex came barging into the office. Where is the Bird Day Boy?
Was really surprised as there were not at all any sign that there will be a surprise party for me!!! Usually im quite alert to this kind of arranged surprises. Really feeling very touched and also happy that my beloved colleagues have made this effort to plan this for me. Even though its not really some big birthday bash and also not that im getting lotsa presents.... But its the thought from everyone that moved me. I LOVE YOU GUYS / GALS
Hmm.... Sad, even thou its my birthday today, im not enjoying every second of it..... Reason? Cuz im down with a 39.6 degree celcius high fever since Sunday! Until today im still feeling very weak and feverish =/
And so i slept throughout the whole day, while receiving well birthday wishes smses from all of my beloved friends ^^ Thanks to Alvin, my IT helpdesk, he's the very 1st person who have wished me thru sms and also friendster. Cheryl Cheo, even thou she has left SCB but still remembers my BIG DAY. Nashy, always been a very thoughtful and caring friend whom never fogets my bday. Joyce, my sweet lil ex-Singtel colleague whom always bickers with me when we were colleagues. Jessica, a always so chatty friend and someone who can be trusted. Meizhen, my teenage "Sister" where we used to share no secrets between us. Sam, the sweetest one, sang me a Bday song when im half awake lying on my bed feeling half dead. All you guys and gals really brightened up my day, Thanks again all and Muacks!
Then later in the evening, when i thought i was feeling better, so i decided to meet my pal Shawn in town as he had plan for a bday celebration. But never did i expected, when i reached town, my body gave way, im feeling all so weak again.... Not wanting to spoil the mood, i suggested that we could juz go some where for dinner and i requested to have some soupy stuff. So Shawn suggested that we have our dinner at Soup Spoon,. But things did not turn out well... Think im really too sick for anything, i ordered the mushroom soup, when i took the 1st 2 spoon of the soup immediately i felt nausea.... So no choice, i waited for Shawn to finish his share and i took a cab home.
Sorry Shawn that i spoilt the evening.... I will make up to you, it will be my treat when i've recovered.

Met up with one of my secondary school pal and so call "Sister", Meizhen (Joyce), at Tampines Stadium. Its been more than 5yrs that we have not seen each other. Decided that we go have the cheap cheap sushi for lunch. Didn't expect her to bring her bf along..... Making me feel kinda awkward as i never like to go out with couples.... But luckily, her bf left after the lunch as he is going back to work. Thereafter we went over to Tampines Mall to shop around, it all juz feels like yesterday that we were shopping and gossiping others =D

Time really flys when we are having fun.... By the time for me to take my medication, its already 5.30pm, we came to a stop in one of the Cafe located at the top most floor of TM. Its a Hong Kong style cafe, selling all sorts of Hong Kong snacks and beverages (Reminds me of the food during my HK trip =P) But sadly, the food is nothing compare to the authentic Hong Kong cuisine, frankly speaking its not nice at all =/
By 7pm, her bf has knocked off from work and came over to meet her as they are going down town for a movie. Being a sick man =P I was offered a ride home ^^
My 3rd dental appointment on the 3rd of May. What coincidence =.= Any way today the dentist did a filling for me as the last extraction of my right bottom wisdom tooth has resulted a hole in the tooth in front of it. The filling costs me $90 =/ The dentist also advised me that the left bottom wisdom tooth needs to be extracted too as it is starting to decaying also =/ And so he scheduled me for another appointment on 12th May 2007 (Monday) $$$ again =(
After my dental appointment, i met up with Jasper. Accompanied him to Orchard for his Chiropractic treatment. Thereafter we went Bugis for a few games before settling ourselves for a sumptious 天天火锅 buffet. Like always, i enjoyed it. The soup is simply irresistible ^^
Caught Spiderman 3 with Tim. Normally Shawn, Tim and myself are always the trio when going for movies. But this time round, Shawn "pang-seh" us as he has already seen it on his last trip to JB with his camp mates.....
Tim went down to the Cathay Cineplex to get tickets at around 1.30pm. After which he jio-ed me to play a round or 2 of Dota as the show is at 4.30pm. After 1 round of Dota, the time is about 2.50pm. He asked me for another round but i said that i needed to prepare myself otherwise im sure to be late for the show.....
Some how or rather, given so much time to get ready.... Im still ended up late =.= Tim called me at 4.30pm sharp but im still on the MRT.... So he insisted that i get off the train and take a taxi instead.... Thinking that it will be faster if i take a taxi.... So i got off at Paya Lebar station and took a cab from there. But still i reached Cathay at around 5.05pm =.= Not much difference even if i continued my ride on the MRT =.= Waste $$$ taking taxi.
After the show, Tim rushed off as he has an appointment elsewhere so i met up with Shawn for Dinner @Hans Restaurant at National Library, we discussed about moving out together with Tim... Seems to us like it wouldn't be any time soon as we are not financially stabilised yet..... After dinner we went seperate ways..... Shawn went to gym while i make my move back home.
On my MRT ride home, i got a call from Chris, he jio-ed me to go Tampines mac juz to "nua" there as he is meeting his friend later. He's apparently with 肥肥 so i got off at Simei station and 肥肥 drove over to fetch me to the 201 mac. As usual our talk is full of Sarcasm on other people.... Think my mind is being polluted by that 2 crude bros.... Better stay away from them =D
